Day1, Nov.26 ,2013
After having Breakfast at our Hotel, The Hyatt, South Dania, Florida. Bob and I walked over to the Mall and back. Packed up our suitcases and the shuttle picked us up at 11:00am.. It is a very short drive to the Fort Lauderdale Pier from there and only took about 10 min. or less. check in was very quick and then came the wait.😥.
Since our ship had just returned from across the Atlantic that morning; the coast Guard and others had to go aboard and check the ship all over for North America standards. We were able to board shortly after 12:30pm and we went right to our room. Here are a few photos from around the ship and our room..
After waiting on our deck and watching all the goings on, on the wharf for almost 3 hours😮 we went to Dinner at the Pinnacle Grille. The Captain came on the loud speaker and announced that a shipment that they had to have was stuck in traffic. Apparently from what I heard it was bottles or containers of "Argon Gas". It could be for the air conditioning as some say that it isn't working properly. However our room is OK.
We had a lovely dinner with wine and while eating at approximately 9:00pm we set sail😀. Ok, now we are on our way.
After dinner we were all tired from the long day the day before so we retired to our rooms around 10:00pm. We sure are NOT party animals tonight.
