Friday, (Boxing Day) Dec.26/14
After breakfast in the dining room Bob got back to walking the plank, ooop's I mean the deck. He did 5 trips around today and I did 1 and a half. I know, i'm not very energetic in the morning, well probly
not the most of the time. However, my ankles are swelling bad in this heat and my breathing is really labored weith all the humidity. So I'll just sit with my feet up and read and do the daily Sudoko.
At 11:30am I went to the Digital workshop on deck
8. We were to connect to one drive.com and explore different ways to access, manage and share our files in One Drive . However due to no satalite service, therefore no internet we watched and listened as it was all explained to us. I forget what he did
already.
This afternoon we lazed on our deck until dinner time.
This evening our entertainment was Christine Stedman who is a Commedian. She was being build as "one funny mother". She was very funny; but, 5 minutes before she went on stage
they told her it was PG. That threw her whole routine off and she was struggling to keep it really squeeky clean. Apparently just before she went on stage at the 10:00PM show they told her she could use her scripted routine. She never swears in her shows
but sometimes it does get a bit risque.
Apparently some older people, yes there are lots on here even older than us, who walked out because she said the word "boobs". Oh my we have all kinds on board. I was talking to Christine in the Lido
earlier and she was a lovely lady to talk to.
Well, tonight at midnight our day goes ahead a whole day; therefore we do not have a Dec. 27th. we jump right ahead to Dec.28th as we pass over the International date Line.
Just think, we lose a complete
day and we didn't even get too drunk to lose a day. So I'll go to bed and imagine that I slept a whole day away. Oh, it wouldn't happen on a cruise ship with all this great food.
