Another Sea Day, Dec. 19, 2014

Lot's of clouds but a beautiful morning sunrise.

After viewing the sun coming up amongst all the clouds we went to breakfast and then walked around the deck. I did my usual one lap and Bob his usual mile.

There was lots to do this morning; I don't know why anyone thinks you would be bored on a long cruise.   Such as :

Mass every morning,; Lots to do in the gym, such as stretches, Yoga, indoor cycling, etc.;  talk on "Exploration of the solar system with Peter Watson who has been having talks every day on some form of astrology.; A Taste of Hawaii, with Host Ashleigh preparing Grilled Prawnd and Chicken & Pineapple Kabobs.; Gem stone seminar, Bridge lessons, 3 or 4 different seminars in the Digital Workshop with everything from all you want to know about Windows to photo Editing. These and more were all before lunch and after lunch is just as busy. So you can do as much or as little as you want; and no two days are the same.

After our lunch in the lido I went back to the Aloha Ukulele lessons. Bob had given up and I just may as well as I find that my fingers really pain trying to do the fingering. Lessons are going to resume after we leave Hawaii so I'll see then.

Henry Allen, our Master Ukulele teacher along with his niece's and wife.

Even though there were clouds hanging around all day it was still a very nice day. You could see that off in the distance there was rain showers but we never did get any. It was warmer out on deck than inside today.

Tonight there were only Bob and I, and Francois and Stephen at dinner tonight in the Dining room. We had a great time talking and laughing. Steven is a Holocost survivor who lost all his family in the war. He has written one book and is now on his second. He has been all over the world speaking at Universitys and conventions and has great story's to tell. His wife is from Montreal and is also interesting.  We didn't know what happened to Bill & Lynn; perhaps they went to the Canaletto, Pinnacle or Lido for their Dinner.

After Dinner the 4 of us went to the Showroom at Sea to hear the Harmonica Virtuoso Bernie Fields. Man, can he play that Harmonica. He did a number of classical, showtunes etc. with the HAL Cats,  He also did  "What A Wonderful World" and "Ave Maria" without the orchestra. Just beautiful.

After the show we returned to our cabin and then I went to the Lido for a "Green Tea" and brought it back; got ready for bed and then sat out on deck with my Kobo and tea. Life is great.
