Sun rising above the Islands & peeking through the clouds

I was up and out on deck at 6:15AM this morning watching us sail through all the little Islands before we arrived at Crown Bay, St Thomas. What a glorious morning it was watching the sun rise and shining on the water making it sparkle then down low behind an Island we would be passing then the sun shining again.

A morning to be thankful for being able to cruise and just be alive.

The girls came to in time to see us docking at Crown Bay. Then I had my shower , dressed and we all went to the Pinnacle grill again for our breakfast.

After breakfast we got ready to go ashore and head over to town and the Markes but by the time we walked the Pier and headed to get a shuttle the heat and a cold were getting the best of me so the girls went over town and i just stayed at Crown Bay. I strolled along the wharf and watched the Iguanas for awhile. There used to be some reall large ones there 4 or 5 years ago but now they are all much smaller.

It really ticked me off to see one man go out on the rocks and chase one little guy and pick it up and come back up onto the wharf with it. Showing it off.  There were 2 little boys who had been very good and was just watching the Iguanas; they had read the signs as to NOT walk on the rocks or chase the Iguans. After watching the adult they then decided to try it as well. I certainly dom't blame them,; but I do blame that supposedly "adult".

After sitting awhile I then strolled through the shops at Crown Bay, where you can get some very nice souvenirs or high end electronics ao jewellery. I stuck to the souvenier shops then went back to the ship, stopped at a bar and got a cold Cesar and sat on our deck to watch the sights.

We did have a few sprinkles of rain throughout the day, but as soon as they came they stopped.

I saw Susan & Nicole coming back from their shopping trip over town and I watched them strolling all along the pier and up the gang way before they ever looked up. After they arrived we had show & tell of our purchase's we then went to the Lido for lunch.

We then went back to our deck where the "fun" began ashore. All aboard was at 4:30PM

, and I don't know what it is but I have found St Thomas to be the Port that the most passengers are always strolling along the pier late.  Some run when they know they are late, some just walk "maybe" a little faster, others stroll and then there are those who don't seem to care who they are holding up and even stop to talk or take pictures when they should have been all aboard 20 minutes before. They were even calling for people over the loud spesker and one lady "sort of" hurried to the check point at the end of the pier then just slowly strolled along while they kept calling her name. We have seen the Hotel Manager take Passports to the Port Officials of those who do not make it in time.

Since I wasn't feeling the best today the girls decided that we should order in Room Service for our dinner tonight. They ordered off of tonights Dinner Menu and I just ordered a Club Sandwich, which was very good. So as we sailed away from St. thomas we ate on our deck which was very nice. Then the girl's went for drinks and they brought me back a green tea and a couple of chocolate chip cookies and I had those on deck and read for awhile. When i went back inside both girls had zonked out for the night. They had intended on going partying and dancing but they never made it tonight.
