Well we are still quite lazy these sea days.Wednesday we still had a bit of sea swell but not as bad as Tuesday. Thursday the sea has leveled off and the "barf" bags have been removed
from the hallways, elevators, etc..
Bob attended the presentation of the history of the Ukulele and it's gift to the world.
Then on Thursday they started to give lessons on the Ukulele; so both Bob & I attended this class. We both ffound it hard getting our arthritc fingers around the neck and onto the strings. Plus Bob's fingers are shorter and
he can no longer play his violin because of that.
It was also Formal night; or as Bob call's it"monkey suit night,. It was supposed to have been lst night but becaause of the
ship rocking it was postponed to Wednesday. We all cleaned up & dressed up nicely; and all our dinner mates were in attendence.
After dinner we attended "Bob Mackies
Broadway" show which was held in the Showroom at Sea. The show featured hit songs from Broadway's biggest blockbusters, featuring costumes by legendary designer Bob Mackie.
The
costumes were gorgeous and the whole show was very well done and I believe that this group of singers and dancers are the best we have seen on our cruises for sometime.
Also this
evening Wed. was the Captains Welcome Toast, where all were given a glass of wine, champagne. or ginger ale as we entered the Showroom. There were the fewest officers introduced that I have ever seen at the Captains Welcome.
After the show we retired again and Bob went right to bed. He couldn't get out of his "monkey suit" fast enough.
