Today we are at sea all day and for the next couple of days. We have crossed over the Equator again and have left Brazil behind but not forgotten. We have entered the North Atlantic Ocean once again.
After breakfast and our walk this morning I went to the Digital Workshop for a class on "Window's Store & Apps. Well we tried to learn ; we did listen to Rebekka and she gave us a paper on it as well
we can also go to HAL's website for more info. We couldn't log on to the internet today so we really couldn"t learn everything as we needed hands on with the computers..
Priscilla, Bob &
I then headed up to the Sea View Deck aa there was a Happy Feet "Crossing the Equator" party. When we got there, there was a heavy downpour for a few minutes and Bob disappeared on us. I guess his mother never told him he wasn't made of sugar and wouldn't
melt in the rain.
There was games, special drinks, music and photo's taken crossing the Equator. So Priscilla and I posed for photo's and then left to find the boy's for lunch.
This afternoon we just hung out on our deck again but it was sunny and hot and I just wanted to sleep so that is what we ended up doing for the afternoon. At least it is a nice comfortable temperature in our room;
as long as we keep the curtains closed to keep out the heat. We have airconditioning but some say they haven't. One lady said she keeps her door open to try to cool it down. I tried to explain that all that is doing is making the airconditioners work all the
harder and can't keep up.
At dinner this evening for dessert they had "Chocolate Bomb" on the menu so the most of us at our table had that. Ooooh was it gooood. We told our waiter that they should
have that on the menu every night.
After dinner this evening we went to the Showroom to hear Naomi Edemariam who is a very talented pianist. Someone said that she is a Canadian but she now lives
in the UK.
There was an "Under The Sea" party tonight in the Ocean Bar. After the performance by Naomi we went there but it was packed and standing room only. So these party animals departed to
our rooms early again. Lately we haven't even been going to the Lido for a before bedtime snack. Perhaps it's because we are sort of water logged from drinking so much so that we don't get dehydrated.
Anyway for tonight goodnightuntil tomorrow.
