Wow, we arrived at breakfast this morning to find the La Fontain Dining Room all decorated for Christmas.
After breakfast we went to go
out the starboard side aft doors to find that they were still taped off from last night. It's no wonder the way we were rockin' & rollin' last night and at times you could even hear the wind howling. So, we went forward and went out the port side
doors and it was still very windy. We sure found out just how windy when we went around the corner at the back of the ship. I thought I was going to blow right out to sea and with the swell's on the sea it made it really rough trying to keep your balance so
I only made one trip around the promenade deck. Bob however did his usual 5 to 6 trips around.
I. on the other hand headed to the Ocean Bar to sit and do the daily Sudoku and ended up playing
a word game with others, I didn't win, but also didn't do to bad.
We had a delivery of a tray of appatizers just before lunch delivered to our room with my name on it but not who it was from,
so we don't know who sent it but it was greatly appreciated anyway. I also forgot to take a photo of them before they were gone.
Bob, Eric, Priscilla and I went to the Lido for lunch and braved
the hoards of others getting lunch.
This afternoon I "tried" working on my blog to get caught up but for some reason the internet here just doesn't seem to like me. I just get on and started when
it shuts down and I lose everything.
Eric is still under the weather from the scare he gave us all last night. He actually ended up in the on board infirmary where they looked after him
very well. He did show up at dinner this evening as we were just starting our dessert. So we were all together again. It's great to have such compatiable dinner companion's.
After dinner
we went to the Scavenger Hunt in the Showroom, this time I kept all my clothes on. It was fun to see what passengers actually brought in anticipation of what would be needed. After this was over we stayed to see the juggler.
Luke Burrage performed some more juggling tricks for us and then Naomi Edemariam, the pianist, performed again this evening as well.
Next it was off to bed as we have tours
tomorrow so we will have to be up early. Goodnight all.
