Collectors Cruise on HAL's Nieuw Amsterdam

Horray !!!  Less than a week to go.  Yesterday I watched as the Niew Amsrerdam pulled away from the Pier and cruised out of the Port Everglades Terminal until next week when it will be back and WE will be on her.

It's a great place to get your fix for sailing, that is if you have run out of those little pillow chocolates. LOL.

On our last cruise, (up the Amazon) I earned my 4 Star Mariners Pin and I am now entitled to the 4 star benifits.  I think the one most everyone likes the most is the free laundry that comes with it. Although. since we are in a suite we get that this time anyway. Since there are going to be 3 adult women in one room we figured we needed all the space that we could get. Well there was the "Penthouse"; but we will settle for the suite instead. The price on it was right. We will save the "Penthouse" until we win the Loto, Oh,  I forgot we don't buy those.

In case anyone is interested this is how I do our luggage tags.

1..  First, of course, print them out. Which I do on card stock.

2..  Then I cut them out, in one long strip, and then fold them in the center as instructed.

3..  I then use a glue stick and stick the folded sides together, and leave them for a day or two.

4..  I next punch a hole where it says to staple, and attatche a Reinforcement around the punched hole.

5..  Then I lightly spray them with Krylon CLEAR Spray 3 times each side. Letting the spray dry for   about  a half  hour  between sprays.  Make sure you attatched the hole reinforcement's before you spray, or they may not stick,

 6..  Pack them in your luggage with either "bag ties" or "zip ties" and when you get to the pier or hotel attatche the tags. Very easy and with the Reinforcements's they are really sturdy and with the Krylon spray they are also fairly water proof.
