Good evening from the Elegant Explorer.
I just finished yesterdays as I couldn't get the internet to stay on last night.
Today we woke up to see the Island of St. Barts from our anchored position in the Bay. Wow, the yauhts that are here.
Some must be over millions of dollars. They are huge. Also anchored today was the Windstar, which is a sailing cruise ship. I believe it had 4 masts with the sails square or rectangled as to triangular. Note,I don't know one kind of sailboat from another.
Just as long as sails is OK with me.
We went ashore after breakfast and window shopped as everything was expensive. We walked around the town and strolled along the waterfront and then headed back to board the "Tender" back to the ship. Then the rain
came, again. Oh well we are now getting used to these quick heavy showers..
Back aboard ship we headed this time to the main dining room for lunch as there were fewer passengers there than the Lido. After lunch we went to the Ocean Bar and as no one
was around we sat at a table and played "Hand & Foot". Yeah, the girls won, twice, so the boys decided it was nap time. I tried to take some photos of birds that were flying around. They were much too quick to get a good shot.
Ate in the main
diniing room agai tonight, it was country casual, however we all changed and got ourselves spruced up a bit.
After dinner we went to the show Lounge to hear a Harpist from Paraguay. I wili have to let you know later his name. As I am at the library
and don't have it here. He too was a most talented musician.
We tried to get the guy's to go to the movie with us but they opted for bed. Tonight's movie was" Heat ". Oh well, at least they are cruising with us.
