Today we docked at Santana, which is our first stop along the Amazon River. We were supposed to stop at Macapa ; however, due to River conditions plans may be rescheduled or modified at short notice.
The scheduled tours did go to Macapa to see the Zero Monument among other sites. I would have liked to have gone but we couldn't get tickets. I should have booked it before leaving home.
It was a very hot and humid dayso after watching the activity on and around the dock we came inside and had a dice game. Bob, Eric & I each won a game and left Priscilla winless. maybe next time.
Dinner was smart casual this evening and after we went to the Showroom to listen to "Can't Stop The Music".It was an upbeat, fast paced show featuring songs from the greatest American and UK bands. A journey from
the Eagles to the Beatles and beyond. Then it was up to the Lido for tea and a cookie again.
